Sound familiar?

"Works on localhost. Breaks in prod."
"My API keys are… in the repo?"
"Every change breaks something else."
"The AI keeps going in circles."
"Backups? Monitoring? Eventually."
"Why is my cloud bill so high?"

Every vibe coder hits the same humps. Ship It takes them one chapter at a time, so you can start with the one you're stuck on.

The chapters

From prompt-only to a real business

Each chapter follows the same pattern: the symptom, why it happens, the fix on a real project, templates and prompts to keep, and a checkpoint so you know you're past it.

About me

Hi, I'm Jonathan Davis.

Software architect · DevOps & infrastructure · Miami, FL

I build and run the plumbing that keeps software online: Docker and containers, CI/CD pipelines, networking, and the development and production servers teams depend on every day. Lately a big part of my work has been helping put AI tools to work inside a real company, which means a lot of thinking about what it takes for AI-built software to be safe, reliable and affordable.

That's where jdware comes from. Vibe coding has made it possible for almost anyone to build an app. Getting that app into production, keeping it secure and keeping it running is still the part that usually takes a senior engineer. Ship It is the playbook I'd hand a new teammate, and when you need more than a playbook, I'm available for hands-on help.

FAQ

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Chapter 0 assumes you've only ever prompted. Each chapter explains what you're doing and why, and gives you prompts you can hand to your AI tool.

Which AI tools does this work with?

All of them. You'll see Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor, Claude Code and others, but the chapters teach principles and habits that don't depend on one tool's buttons.

When are the chapters released?

Chapter 0 is available now. Chapters 3 (secrets) and 6 (deploying) come next, then the rest in order of what readers need most. Pre-order buyers get every chapter as it's released.

What format are the chapters?

Written guides with copy-paste commands, templates and prompts. Video walkthroughs will be added over time.

I'm stuck right now. Can you just fix it?

Yes. Book an Architecture Review, or ask about a Production Setup and we'll scope it together.
